Lotter Scam Or Not?

The Lotter Scam or Not?

The Lotter Review

Is The Lotter a scam? Do The Lotter purchase real lottery tickets? Can I play my favourite lottery safely at The Lotter? We receive emails about these issues every day, the following will help explain The Lotter and how they work better.

Established in 1999, the Lotter has been paying cash prizes to all of their lottery winners for over a decade. In total the company has paid out over €17,664,117.10 ($22.2 Million) to over 618,136 winners. The totals of both increase with every lottery draw and The Lotter almost offer ever 40 National Lottery games to players from almost any country in the world.

Notably The Lotter have paid out some large prizes to players outside of the relevant lotteries home nation. For instance on March 20th of 2012 a Spanish native won €197,987.54 ($250,000) on the U.S.A’s Mega Millions, with a ticket purchased from The Lotter. The company even assisted him in travelling to their New York offices to collect his prize personally.

The Lotter is the biggest player in the online lottery ticket service industry and they are keen to protect their good reputation. That’s why the site uses Geo Trust 128bit SSL security to encrypt the payment details of their customers, as well as sending everyone a scan of their ticket. It’s systems like this that have kept the Lotter going from strength to strength.

Bonuses

The Lotter has a wealth of different bonuses and loyalty perks. The initial bonus is to give you 100% of your first purchase back to you to purchase more tickets. For instance if you deposit and send €20 on tickets you’ll receive an extra €2 bonus. This effectively makes your first purchase buy one get one free

Their offer for referring a friend is desirable too. Once they register and purchase a ticket you receive $25 (€19) to your account with which to buy tickets and your friend receives $10 (€7.6).

With a subscription you receive every 10th ticket for free, and when you pay up front for multiple consecutive draws (5,10,25 or 52) you’ll receive 20% off the total price.

Finally The Lotter have a VIP club that you slowly gain better membership in. For each $1 you spend on site you receive 1 point. The more points you have the better your VIP status and the better the rewards.

  • Bronze 51-200 points, 2.5% off all purchases
  • Silver 201-500 points, 5% off all purchases
  • Gold 501-2000 points 12.5% off all purchases

Overall this is an excellent rewards system that makes playing the lottery with The Lotter very worthwhile.

Conga Lotto Review

Conga Lotto Scam or Not?

CongaLotto

Conga Lotto.com pride themselves on offering alternative ways to participate in a wide range of lotteries from all around the world. While they are yet another site that does not offer single ticket purchases they have a great wealth of syndicates. When participating in each lottery you have to choose a minimuim number of entries for each draw (as displayed for each game below). What makes Conga Lotto unique is that for many lottery games they offer the chance to play with surplus numbers.

For example in the German Lotto you have to pick 5 main numbers. Conga offers you the ability to pick several extra numbers, 8, 9, 10 or 11. When you select 8 numbers you purchase 1 ticket for each combination of 5 numbers that you can create with the 8 numbers you’ve chosen. Naturally the more numbers you select the greater amount of tickets you’ll require and the higher the price. This system is called wheeling and if you’re into this sort of thing then Conga Lotto’s system of creating all the variables is a great time saver.

They also offer subscriptions that allow you to enter your numbers for several consecutive drawings meaning you can continually play and be charged with no hassle at all. Conga also offer syndicate models for certain lottery games, and those are noted in the list below. We have included the minimum number of lines you must play for each game and the minimum cost for your information.

Payment Options, Winnings, & Site Encryption

The standard methods of payment are offered by Conga as listed below. They also accept money by bank transfer and western union, however the costs of any transfers will be the responsibility of the player.

  • Visa
  • Visa Debit
  • Mastercard
  • American Express/AMEX
  • Delta
  • JCB
  • Skrill Moneybookers
  • UKash
  • Token Pay
  • Western Union

Their policies on paying out winnings are identical to that of WinTrillions -they’re run under the same umbrella. In the first instance with prizes under €600 (€457) they will happily collect the prize on your behalf and credit it to you, whether to your online account to buy more tickets, or by bank wire (at your expense), or even by sending a cheque as a final resort. If the winnings are over this amount (€600/€457) then you will be sent a claims form of the respective lottery you entered to fill out, sign and send back for processing, therein Conga will again send your winnings by bank wire or cheque. They do state in their terms that for huge prizes (into the hundreds of thousands/millions) it is best if you are to come to their offices in the U.S and collect the ticket from their offices in person. As a final resort you can also have your winning ticket mailed/couriered to you, but this as always is at your own cost and risk.

Just like WinTrillions these guys have a 256 bit SSL certificate securing all the payments made through their site.

Bonuses

Sadly while Conga have the most variation in lotto playing options they do not appear to offer any special bonuses at this time. Lets hope this changes!

Support

Conga live chat support isn’t the fastest in the world, and it’s often offline, it is however present and they can answer any of your questions. The email support is again helpful and polite but may take up to 48 hours to respond.

Win Trillions Review

WinTrillions Scam or Not?

WinTrillions.com

Win Trillions have a big range of lottery games from all over the world to be played. They market themselves as a lottery “messenger service” buying tickets on your behalf. The most unusual factor about them is that they only offer lotteries on subscription. What this means is that you can never purchase individual tickets for a draw. Tickets must always be purchased for multiple draws at once and payment must be made up front. You can take subscriptions for most of the lotteries for up to a year, and naturally the bigger the subscription you take the more money you save on each ticket. Listed below are the lottery games they offer and the minimuim period you can subscribe for, we also note for which games they offer a syndicate.

  • Mega Sena, 3 weeks, 6 draws, €37.00, Play Now
  • Euro Millions, 3 weeks, 6 draws, €37.00, Play Now
  • U.S.A Powerball, 3 weeks, 6 draws €37, Play Now
  • Mega Millions, 4 weeks, 12 draws €37, Play Now
  • Super Enalotto, 1 month, 18 draws €77, Play Now
  • Indiana Hoosier Lotto, 1 month, 12 draws €37, Play Now
  • Powerball Australia, 1 month, 6 draws €27, Play Now
  • Lotto Germany, 1 month, 12 draws €37, Play Now
  • El Gordo, 1 month, 6 draws €37, Play Now
  • Florida Lotto, 1 month, 12 draws €37, Play Now
  • Oz Lotto, 1 month, 6 draws €27.00, Play Now
  • New York Lotto, 1 month, 12 draws, €37.00, Play Now
  • California Super Lotto Plus, 3 weeks, 6 draws, €37, Play Now
  • La Primitiva, 1 month, 8 consecutive draws, €54.00, Play Now
  • Loto France, 1 month, 12 draws, €77, Play Now
  • National Lottery UK, 1 month, 12 draws, €57, Play Now
  • Irish Lotto, 2 lines (a minimuim two lines must be played in Irish Lotto), 3 weeks, 6 draws, €94.00, Play Now
  • Hot Lotto, 1 line, 12 consecutive draws, €37, Play Now
  • Thunderball UK, 1 month, 18 consecutive draws, €97.00, Play Now

Payment Options, Winnings, & Site Encryption

A decent range of payment options are available to players. Win Trillions is also happy for you to send them money by bank transfer or Western Union. In the case of bank transfer charges they will give you extra points (see bonus section below) toward your account to ‘cover’ those charges. Primary payment options listed here are:

  • Visa
  • Visa Debit
  • Visa Electron
  • Mastercard
  • American Express/AMEX
  • Delta
  • JCB
  • Skrill Moneybookers
  • UKash
  • Token Pay
  • Western Union

As with most sites winnings under $600 (€456) will be claimed on your behalf by the site and credited to you. They can be immediately used to pay for more subscriptions or sent to you at your own cost. Whether the costs are incurred through a bank transfer or posting a cheque you’ll have to pay. If the winnings are over $600/€456 then they will send you a claim form for the respective lottery which you must fill out, sign and send back in order for them to redeem your prize and send it to you. There is also always the option to come to their offices in the U.S.A and collect the ticket yourself in person, which is really the way to go if you’ve won a huge sum of money. Lastly they offer to send your ticket via any mail delivery or courier service that you chose, but point out that the costs and risks involved are all your own responsibility.

Security supreme as they use 256 bit SSL encryption on their payment pages.

Bonuses

The most unique of WinTrillion’s “bonus” offers is the ability to buy a subscription as a gift certificate for a friend, or for corporations to buy for their employees. While not a bonus in itself, it is a feature unique to their site and a very novel gift idea!
They also run a similar scheme to PlayHugeLotto’s whereby every ticket you purchase generates points that can be used to get discounts or free lotto tickets in the future. Referring a friend to the site will also get you both a free Mega Millions ticket.
Lastly the site has various day to day bonuses with a “Deals Of The Day” section to the site. These can be anything from percentages off certain lotteries, free tickets, and bigger discounts on lotteries that they are keen to promote.

Support

Both live chat support and email support are offered, the former is instant and always online, the latter is communicative and will resolve issues quickly.
