Mega Millions Lotto Review

About Mega Millions Lotto

Are you aiming high? Dreaming big? Planning on living a mega-life? Well, if the answer to all of those is “yes”, you’ve made the right decision in checking out your options for playing MegaMillions (that mega-life makes a lot more sense now, probably).

The first thing you should know, since it’s a big leverage MegaMillions has over many other lotteries, is its record jackpot – not so long ago, in October 2018, one lucky winner won the biggest jackpot for one set of numbers in lotto history, an incredible 1.537 billion dollars. Well, that’s just completely crazy, but also a spectacular reason to start playing MegaMillions right this moment.

Chances of Winning

The odds for winning a jackpot are not so good, which is clear when you consider the fact how much those jackpots can grow, so they stand at 1:302.575.350 for winning the biggest prize.

But remember, jackpots start at 40 million dollars, and like that’s not enough, there’s (obviously) no cap or rollover, which means they will continue to grow until drawn. Aka somebody has to win it, and it might as well be you.

But the jackpot isn’t the only ace up MegaMillions’ sleeve. There is also an option called Megaplier which you can play for 1 additional dollar, and which multiplies prizes other than the jackpot by 2, 3, 4 or 5 times, depending on which Megaplier number is drawn.

The odds of winning any of the top six prizes (there are nine tiers of prizes in total) is 1 in 775 and the odds for winning any prize 1 in 40.

How to Play

To play MegaMillions lottery, you’ll need to choose five numbers out of 70 and one extra (officially called MegaBall) from the additional pool of 25 numbers. You only need two dollars to enter the game (and don’t forget – one successful line was all it took for someone to win all of that crazy money), unless you also want to play the mentioned Megaplier, in which case the game will cost you three dollars.

You also have the option of playing the game called Just a Jackpot, in which, you’ve guessed it, you are not competing to win any other prize other than the jackpot.

When is the Draw

The draw takes place two times a week, each Tuesday and Friday, so there’s no time to lose. Start running towards that mega-money right now and here, and play MegaMillions lotto by clicking on one of the buttons below.

Our final verdict: there’s really no minuses in this game, only (mega) pluses!
